Mihaela Plesa Campaign
Brand Strategy & Identity
Political Campaign
Project Overview
Mihaela Plesa is a Texas State Representative serving House District 70 in Collin County. In her first term, named Freshman of the Year by the Texas Legislative Study Group, she authored 141 bills and secured a $6.2 million budget rider for Early Childhood Intervention. Running for re-election, she needed a brand system as strong as her record.
Our work spanned the full spectrum — strategic positioning, complete visual identity, social media system, campaign collaterals, and a new campaign website — built to reach one of the most culturally diverse districts in suburban North Texas.
District 70 is one of the most diverse suburban districts in North Texas — majority non-Anglo, highly educated, and politically balanced. Mihaela's identity needed to honor her existing brand assets while building a scalable graphic language for complex policy communication — warm, approachable, and never partisan.
The goal was a brand that says "this is a leader who listens and delivers."Brand Strategy
Mihaela is positioned as the trusted, solutions-driven leader for Collin County — someone who puts people before politics and progress before partisanship. Her positioning bridges ideological divides by centering the shared values of family, education, safety, opportunity, and trust.
Her brand is built on two archetypes: The Ruler — confident, decisive, structured leadership — paired with The Caregiver — compassionate, empathetic, community-centered. Together, they create a leader who is both commanding and kind, firm in principle but warm in delivery.
Calm, confident, and compassionate. Never too aggressive, never too soft. Mihaela speaks with the authority of a policymaker and the heart of a neighbor — solution-oriented, inclusive, and focused on real outcomes rather than rhetoric or partisan blame.
Visual Identity
Plesa Navy anchors the brand in authority and stability. Dark Teal and Tiffany Green bring warmth and a distinctive Texas identity. Light Blue adds openness and connection. Together, the Corn Yellow, Texas Gold, and Coca-Cola Red act as warm accent colors — nodding to Texas civic pride and adding energy to campaign moments where bold expression is needed.

The Caregiver brings warmth, compassion, and humanity to Mihaela's leadership. She listens to people's lived experiences and responds with policies that prioritize families, education, and community well-being. Her empathy is never passive — it translates into action and responsibility.
